We are now hiring for the Spa Manager at the Canyon Ranch Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Staff Supervision: Manages, coaches and directs the Assistant Spa Managers including massage, beauty and spa services.
  • Responsible for interview, selection, coaching, development, performance management, termination of Spa Services, Massage, Metaphysical and Beauty Services departments.
  • Sets schedules, manages payroll expense, timecards and time off requests.
  • Prepares and delivers performance evaluations and provides regular coaching.
• Budget Management: Assists with operating budgets for the spa as well as capital budget. Coordinates capital projects in conjunction with the Spa Director.
  • Assists with annual budget process as well as monthly reports.
  • Monitors operating expense and payroll budgets for Spa Services, Massage, Metaphysical and Beauty Services departments.
  • Analyzes financial date, departmental utilization reports and revenue statistics.
  • Manages Spa Services, Massage, Metaphysical and Beauty Services departments with wise budgetary management decisions.
• Planning and Development: Assists with the development of business strategies and project plans to ensure that the design and implementation of new concepts, methods, and policies and procedures relating to the Spa are aligned with company and department goals.
• Customer Service: Directs all efforts toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of Canyon Ranch standards and profit maximization.
• Communication: Interacts with guests as needed to ensure optimum guest service satisfaction.
  • Analyzes and translates interactions into service and facility improvements.
  • Responds to colleague and guest needs with genuine concern and a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• 5+ years of experience required managing a spa or similar luxury property.
• In depth knowledge of and connection in the Fort Worth luxury market/spa space
• Emotional intelligence and leadership ability to successfully engage and retain staff
